World Down Syndrome Day 2020, PAKISTAN

21 March, known as World Down Syndrome Day. This day world celebrates the existence of GOD's one of the most beautiful human creation, people known them as Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome Day-2020 was so much fun, productive, healthy, joyful for every child, adolescents, teens, youngsters, adult and even for elders at Karachi Down Syndrome Program, Pakistan's carnival held at DHA sports club (MOIN KHAN ACADEMY)-Karachi on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. PUBLIC RESPONSE TO FAYYAZ CHOHAN SAD STATEMENT, "DISABILITY IS THE PUNISHMENT FROM GOD". Before Islam, the perception regarding disability was, " Disabled child is the punishment of God for those who have done sin."  When Islam arrived it teaches us that, God creates them so that we can see His power in them. MUHAMMAD NAVEED IQBAL'S STORY I, Muhammad Naveed Iqbal have done my BS in IT. My story is rounding around the society vs my disability vs me.  My disability is minor. My right hand is 2 inches shorter having 3 fingers and thumb, so I use my left hand for everything. Till my matric life there was not any such thing named disability in my life because this didn't interrupt my life till my matric. Then, college life began and the struggle started. The struggle began from the social phobia, I started shaming on my hand and started avoiding everyone so that nobody could make fun. During all these the feeling of, " I am disable " started developing inside me. After college, university life began. Here my social phobia turned into actual issues our society has with disable. I had to make my disability card for admission, point where I completely lost my confidence. I became a below average student. As I had to support my study fees on my own, the job

Sumera Hamza  ( born in Haripur hazara kpk, Pakistan. When she was 1 she got polio attack on her right leg and foot. Today, in picture she is sitting in her office room plus she is about to get her PhD degree. She broke the myth that, "disability means you cannot support your family". She wants to serve Pakistan in the field of research and wants be a role model for others. Her journey of life is full of goosebumps. Goosebumps part 1: (her walking struggles) Inability of walking is associated with the word 'polio'. Right? But....here, the reality is that walking occupy a major portion of her daily life. She walks when she has to take university classes. Sumera live in hostel, so she does all her work on her own (from getting ready for office to doing grocery shopping). M uscular dystrophy  (MD) , is a group of muscle diseases that results in increasing weakening and breakdown of skeletal muscle over time.  Above lines are just lines written in medical books. But what about the person living with muscular dystrophy? Can we write about the life with muscular dystrophy in the same simple way we wrote its definition? A big NO. Absolutely you cannot, because it's not that simple. If you are imagining the life of a person with muscular dystrophy there must be following thoughts generating in your brain: Like, person must has to live his life inside the 4 walls of room, that person must live hopeless and sad life, He will live useless live and so on. Meet  Malik Armughan Ali . Who has spina bifida (Myelomeningocele) plus will, where his will is dominant over spina bifida? He shared his life which is composed of ; spina bifida, his education, his leisure time, hobbies, struggles, give up memory, His message for the world. What else? What else one has in his/her life? Masha Allah he is full of life :) :). Isn't it? Know his success story in his own words. Malik Armughan Ali, I was born with Spina Bifida (Myelomeningocele) with spinal cord injury level L4-L5. Due to this my left leg is short 8 to 9 inches, I walk with leg braces, kfo and stick. I have done my matric and inter from Sir Syed Model School and college. For my bachelors, I went to Muslim youth University Islamabad for BS computer science. I spend my leisure time to listening music, watching movies and talk shows. I also play cricket and badminton. I love traveling. M
