, is a group of muscle diseases that results in increasing weakening and breakdown of skeletal muscle over time. 
Above lines are just lines written in medical books. But what about the person living with muscular dystrophy? Can we write about the life with muscular dystrophy in the same simple way we wrote its definition? A big NO. Absolutely you cannot, because it's not that simple. If you are imagining the life of a person with muscular dystrophy there must be following thoughts generating in your brain:

  • person must has to live his life inside the 4 walls of room,
  • that person must live hopeless and sad life,
  • He will live useless live and so on.
Right?? But....your all imaginations and thoughts proved wrong by a man named, Abbasat Ali having muscular dystrophy. Get ready because his story going to proof you wrong. Let's get started :) :).

Abbasat Ali story:
Abbasat Ali is from district Jhelum, Pakistan. He has a muscular dystrophy due to which he is paralyzed but still, his extra ordinary abilities compensates his this disability. The extra ordinary ability of don't give up, the extra ordinary ability of believe in Allah, the extra ordinary ability to live happy, satisfied and ambitious life. He has done his F.A from Rawalpindi board and now he is in 3rd year of university. Moreover, he give tuition from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and doing this job for last 8 years. A busy day of his life has his studies, tuition job and outing with friends. His future plans includes; an academy and work for disabled people. 

In the journey of his struggles his family and friends are his backbone. According to Ali, his family and friends are playing the role of that muscle which gets destroy from the body because of his muscular dystrophy. He said, "I am a shining star of my parents". His opinion about the problems he has faced or is facing is that, problems are a part of life sometimes it is mild and sometimes severe, we should face them otherwise they will get increase.

He said, "Negative attitude of society towards them is so disappointing. They never embrace us and think that we are useless and worthless. But I think that they are mentally disabled. Because they are unable to see our abilities".
   Ali's message:
Ali addresses the world that:
"Life is the gift of God. No matter what the situation and condition is, we should always be grateful and should help others. We should live a life in a way that life feel pride. We might are not gold but trust me we can contribute in nation's development too. Give us our rights. Parents who have disabled child, kindly consider them normal and educate them. Trust me they will make you feel proud one day".

Sumera Hamza  ( born in Haripur hazara kpk, Pakistan. When she was 1 she got polio attack on her right leg and foot. Today, in picture she is sitting in her office room plus she is about to get her PhD degree. She broke the myth that, "disability means you cannot support your family". Masha Allah he is full of life :) :). Isn't it? Know his success story in his own words. Malik Armughan Ali, I was born with Spina Bifida (Myelomeningocele) with spinal cord injury level L4-L5. Due to this my left leg is short 8 to 9 inches, I walk with leg braces, kfo and stick. I have done my matric and inter from Sir Syed Model School and college. For my bachelors, I went to Muslim youth University Islamabad for BS computer science. I spend my leisure time to listening music, watching movies and talk shows. I also play cricket and badminton. I love traveling. M
