🔵Myths which are born by the society regarding disability have proven wrong by the disabled people.


There is a huge number of myths as well as huge number of disabled people who proves society's myths wrong. Let's recognize few of them.



🔵Myth is....The disability cannot be treated;

Reality is....There is a cure for every disability. Some disability needs habilitation, some needs rehabilitation and some needs to be maintain. Depends on the type, mildness or the severity of disability.


🔵Myth is.....Disabled person cannot get higher education;

She was the deaf and a blind person but despite of this she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. And who is not familiar with her autobiography "THE STORY OF MY LIFE".



🔵Myth is....Disabled person could not have ambitious life;

Reality is.....HELEN KELLER. Who decided to dedicate her life to improving the world? She saves and improves the sight and lives of the worlds vulnerable by combating the causes and consequences of blindness, poor health and malnutrition.

🔵Myth is.....Disabled person could not settled themselves economically;

Reality is.....The BARONESS GREY-THOMPSON. She has the disability "spina bifida" but despite of this she is a Welsh politician, TV presenter and former wheelchair racer. She has also been the Chancellor of North Umbria University.



🔵Myth is....Disabled person could not work for welfare of the society;

disabled people who proves society's myths wrongReality is....MUNIBA MAZARI. Who is also knows as the Irony Lady of Pakistan. She motivates the world through her motivational speaking and hosting.




So yesses!!!! That is how every myth of society proves wrong here. "Disability might have limits but possibilities does not have any".

disability day 2019 Pakistan, interview-Sumera Hamza (polio victim) broke the myth that, "disability means you cannot support your family".

Sumera Hamza  ( born in Haripur hazara kpk, Pakistan. When she was 1 she got polio attack on her right leg and foot. Today, in picture she is sitting in her office room plus she is about to get her PhD degree. She broke the myth that, "disability means you cannot support your family". She wants to serve Pakistan in the field of research and wants be a role model for others. Her journey of life is full of goosebumps. Goosebumps part 1: (her walking struggles) Inability of walking is associated with the word 'polio'. Right? But....here, the reality is that walking occupy a major portion of her daily life. He shared his life which is composed of ; spina bifida, his education, his leisure time, hobbies, struggles, give up memory, His message for the world. What else? What else one has in his/her life? Due to this my left leg is short 8 to 9 inches, I walk with leg braces, kfo and stick. I have done my matric and inter from Sir Syed Model School and college. For my bachelors, I went to Muslim youth University Islamabad for BS computer science. I spend my leisure time to listening music, watching movies and talk shows. I also play cricket and badminton.
